William Pulliam alias Darondo finally managed to release a complete album containing songs which were believed to be lost. The booklet describes the main stages of Darondos career and life which is quite colourful and full of ups and downs.
The sixteen songs on the album are a very intense and raw funk, R&B, soul mixture of the San Francisco Bay area and Darondo’s multi-faceted voice perfectly adds to this mixture.

Just bought UK Subs “Another Kind Of Blues”. It was the first punk band got to know as I was fifteen and that’s over 30 years ago. I heard them the first time as I visited a friend and that was probably the sound I was looking for. Well, I still like them.

This song is so wonderful. Actually this song is quite old and awas lready performed by a few Brazilian artists but in my opinion this is the best version.

R.I.P. Gil Scott-Heron

This is really sad sad news. Visited his concert last year which was wonderful. I know his music for about 20 years and Gil Scott-Heron was always something special to me. I believe that it was not only his music but his personality as well why his fans loved him so much.

Perhaps no one can write it down better as Jamie Byng did in his article on The Guardian.
